Title: Distributed version control
Presenters/hosts: Lars Bendix (LTH) and Christian Andersson (MAH)
Distributed version control is the latest and greatest buzz in the configuration management world - Linus Torvalds even made his own tool.
But what exactly is this "distributed version control" thing? And why and in which situations is it better than previous ways? Is it only for toy systems or does it scale? And can we obtain the same or similar advantages from more "traditional" tools?
Many questions where a lively discussion could lead to a better understanding of the pros and cons - even if we end up agreeing only to disagree.
