Title: Bumps and Pitfalls on the Road to Continuous Delivery Paradise.
Host: Lars Bendix, SNESCM
Many are the roads that lead to Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CoDe) Paradise - some are more bumpy than others and some have pitfalls that you should look out for. So how can you address these problems - or avoid them? Fortunately, others have already gone down the CoDe roads and gained some experience.
We have interviewed 2-3 key people in a handful of Danish companies done as part of the start-up phase of a research project on Continuous Software Engineering. The companies are of different sizes and range from initiating their CoDe journey through to one that has already arrived in Paradise. We also integrate results from interviews done with 2 people from Denmark's leading CoDe consultancy company about their customers' experience.
We want to discuss a selection of the challenges, pitfalls, and bumps that we have found and reflect on the approaches that can be used to either address or avoid them.
