Title: SCM and DevOps

The recent "State of DevOps" 2018 report states that SCM is one of the three pillars on which DevOps rests. That was no surprise to us. However, we would like to discuss our own impressions and the findings of the DevOps report with other SCM (or DevOps) experts.

So we will start the CMCM with briefly characterizing and defining what DevOps is (to us). After that we open up for a discussion of why SCM is a pillar and what SCM can contribute to DevOps success. We are primarily interested in discussing the general concepts and principles - and not so much the nitty-gritty details of implementions.

Finally we close the discussion by presenting the why and what from the DevOps report.
