Title: Branching considered harmful
Host: Lars Bendix, sneSCM.org
and Lund University.
Should branching be considered harmful? I will try to argue that. This is more or less what you will be up
for in this CM Coffee Meeting:
- "A journey into the risks, rewards, and realities of branching."
- "Taming the branching beast—before it branches out of control."
- "Why the biggest merge conflicts aren’t in code, but in practice."
- "Branching: powerful, perilous, and overdue for a rethink."
- "Because your workflow deserves better than merge chaos."
- "The hidden costs of branching—revealed."
at least when Copilot has to pitch the abstract :-) I would rather put it this way: "may the forces of
branching be with you and not against you"!
