Presenters' bio:

René Schaap (intCCM, a new kid on the block):
Rene has more than 25 years experience in IT Development. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of Change & Configuration Management and has implemented CM processes in large organisations. He was co-founder of a Dutch company specialising in CM that has been merged with a European oriented organisation.
Currently, he is a CM consultant in many international organisations. He coordinates CM within the SQS Group, is vice-president of the iNTernational Certified Configuration Manager Association (iNTCCM), is chairman of the Benelux Harvest User Group, and regularly presents his configuration management experience at conferences.

Andreas Göransson (Collaboration between industry and academia):
Andreas Göransson is a senior staff software engineer and he is working as a team leader for the SCM/Build management team at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. He has been working with SCM for 7 years and currently his work is developing SCM strategies and processes.

Lars Bendix (Collaboration between industry and academia):
Lars Bendix is a visiting professor at Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden. His main research interest is software configuration management and how it can be used to support software development processes. He is also interested in agile processes and their pedagogical use in software engineering education. He received a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Aarhus University, Denmark in 1986 and a PhD Degree from Aalborg University, Denmark in 1996.

Thomas Karlkvist (Using Efficient SCM-methods):
Thomas Karlkvist is a senior consultant in software engineering, with more than a decade's experience in development of technical software-based systems. The most prominent areas of expertise has long been software configuration management, working for leading industrial companies mainly in the Gothenburg area, spanning telecom and mobile technology as well as automotive systems.
He has obtained a certificate to teach Rational Software courses for the CM-tool ClearCase, and has a long and wide in experience in teaching tool usage and establishing efficient SCM methods to obtain the optimal solution for the individual project, whether the tools are commercial or open source/freeware.
He is currently working for Cybercom Sweden West AB, a company with its history in Sigma, Teleca and auSystems - which recently became a proud member of the Cybercom Group.

Thomas Axen: (SCM Sanity Check):
Thomas Axen, has been working with software development for the last 12 years. The roles that I have had through my career have been in the following areas: Manager, Software development framework, Test and SCM. The industries that I have worked in are: Pension (ATP and KP), Web tool development (Catalog international) and ERP (Microsoft Business solutions).
The last years I have been working for ATP as the Test and SCM manager in Denmark.

Otto Vinter (Changing developers' attitude towards SCM):
Otto Vinter is an independent software engineering mentor specialising in software process improvements. He also collaborates with the Danish software engineering consulting company DELTA on larger assignments and research projects.
Previously, he was responsible for software process improvements at Bruel & Kjćr. He has been the driving force in that company's improvement activities in testing, requirements engineering, development models, and configuration management.
He has managed software development projects for 30 years and process improvement initiatives for more than 14 years. He received his Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Danish Technical University in 1968. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars, performs mentoring activities for clients, and is an expert evaluator on the framework programmes of the CEC.

Jonas Blunck (Practical Continuous Integration):
Jonas Blunck is a software manager at TAC, Malmo where he spends his time working with software projects, teams and practices. Lately he has been focusing on implementing test driven development and continuous integration within TAC. Prior to being a software manager, Jonas spent 10 years as a software developer on the Windows platform and is also the author of a couple of popular spelunking tools such as ieHTTPHeaders, ComTrace and more.

Anders Truelsen (Change & Configuration Management in a CMMI 5 organization):
1990-1999: MS CS from Aarhus Universitet, DAIMI, with a minor in philosophy.

During university I worked with the DEVISE project implementing the BETA language with Mjolner Informatics.
1999-present: Employed in Systematic. I have worked in a number of different areas:

While working with out SPI team I implemented a house-wide CMM level 3 compliant CM strategy using CVS and Census. In the Healthcare project I'm Configuration Manager for a 70 man project. In 2005 I played a main part in the deployment of Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest in the project.
